The post-Covid world in which we live continues to be an uneasy ride! While all companies strive to manage their businesses in these uncertain times, the challenges are ever-present. Supply and labour shortages, inflation, the Ukraine war, and upcoming
provincial elections, to name a few.
Where there are challenges, there are also opportunities. The booming energy sector, an uptick in mining for special metals, government spending on infrastructure and federal investments in green technologies are just a few bright spots in the Alberta
economy.

The AMBA Board members continue to pursue erectors working in Alberta to join AMBA. AMBA is founded by Metal Building Erectors and will always be at the core of our Metal Building Association. However, it has been challenging to get erector companies to
join AMBA. Perhaps it is because erectors may not find value in the association, aren’t aware of all the AMBA programs available to them, and don’t have the time to participate in meetings. The AMBA membership easily pays for itself: bursaries, awards, marketing,
access to industry participants and networking! Please reach out to your erector companies and educate them on the benefits of joining AMBA… together we can make a difference.
