Harv Friesen has decided to retire and wind down Kesho Construction, an outstanding and reputable metal building erection company that has been in business for over 30 years!
Harv served on the AMBA board since the very beginning of AMBA (1995) and for over 18 years as a board director, he worked hard to encourage both young and older metal building erectors and workers to attend all available training and apprenticeship programs. As an owner of an erection company, Harv felt that it was important to promote the metal building industry as a legitimate and certified trade – he fully supported his workers through advanced education and training programs.
Harv is proud of his career: 40 years of erecting almost 700 metal buildings on four different continents! As a small erecting company, Kesho Construction always kept up with the big companies, adopting the best safety programs and utilizing the latest erection procedures.
As for the future, Harv will be staying somewhat involved in the metal building industry, although in a much more limited capacity. When asked what he would do for fun, Harv said:
“I always had the desire to learn how to play the guitar and strum some cords around the campfire.”
And we would guess, by the photo Harv, that you will be escaping our cold Alberta winters for somewhere warm!?
Alberta Metal Building Association would like to congratulate Harv on his retirement, thank him for his years of service on the AMBA board and for his 40-year contribution to the metal building industry – the industry wouldn’t be as strong as it is today without you Harv.
Congratulations!
