For over a century, EECOL Electric has been building momentum, expanding operations from a small store front in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan to 65 retail/warehouse facilities located across 5 Canadian provinces. Bexson Construction worked closely with EECOL Electric’s team, the Developer and Nucor Building Systems to design, manufacture and construct their most recent branch, located in Lloydminster, Alberta. Although there were some delays selecting the building site and narrowing down the final design, the project schedule was able to be maintained due to the efficiencies of utilizing a pre-engineered building solution. The developer was so impressed with the schedule, cost and quality and Bexson Construction’s ability to provide a feasible construction solution within a shortened time frame.
EECOL Electric’s new facility includes an energy efficient and weathertight standing seam thermal roof system to help lower operation and maintenance costs, an effectively designed interior space to improve productivity and a covered shipping and receiving area to keep valuable products safe from the elements.
