I would like to thank everyone that participated at the 2021 AMBA Golf Tournament at the Ranch Golf and Country Club. Special thanks to Tamara Hudson, Linda Giesinger, and John Weran for organizing this great event.
If you have recommendations on next year’s Golf Tournament location, or suggestions to improve the experience, please email your suggestions to info@albertametalbuildings.com.
We are also going to be scheduling our 2022 Annual General Meeting and are looking for suggestions on venue/location. Please email info@albertametalbuildings.com with your suggestions by end of November, as we will be discussing it at our December board meeting.
As the summer comes to an end, we start to think about winter preparedness. Here are some questions construction teams will need to ask themselves:
1. Is our site access and laydown area ready for fall/winter?
Are the site roadways compacted and graveled for rain and snow, freeze and thaw?
Are exterior water lines insulated, heat traced or need to be blown out?
Is site drainage/gutters/downspouts cleared?
2. Is your heating system ready?
Has the heating system had its annual inspection/maintenance performed?
Are the filters clean or in need of replacement?
Is the system exhaust properly exiting the building safely?
Are Carbon Monoxide detectors checked and operating?
Along with these few tips, there are a long list of items to be prepared for.
Don’t be caught off-guard: be prepared for when those temperatures drop and the snow flies.
Please have your say and engage on AMBA.
