AMBA John Weran Golf Tournament

In memory of John Weran and his contributions to AMBA and the metal building industry

We will be kicking off our 2025 Golf Tournament at the Ranch Golf & Country Club in Acheson, Alberta on June 12th, 2025.

AMBA’s 2025 tournament is named in honour of John Weran. John spent over 41 years in construction and manufacturing, was a member of the Architectural Cladder Committee and served as an AMBA board member for 20 years.

Many of our members may remember John’s enthusiasm at the AMBA Annual Golf Tournament. John played an active role in organizing and planning such a well-attended and fun event. He was always determined to find the best prizes and make the event successful.

Come and join us enjoy a round of golf, socialize with industry partners and rival last year’s trophy award recipients: Curber Manufacturing.

Itinerary

1. Registration: 7:00 AM

2. Shotgun Start: 8:00 AM

3. Barbeque: 2:00 PM

4. Prizes: 3:00 PM

Tickets

1. Golf Registration: $150 (+ GST) per person

2. Dinner Only: $50 (+ GST) per person

Golf registration includes 18 holes of golf, cart, range, dinner, and premium prizes and awards. Registration cancellation/player substitution deadline is May 29, 2025.

Please complete the online registration form in the button below. If paying by cheque, an invoice will be emailed with the total amount due to the billing contact email specified. Please issue cheques to Alberta Metal Building Association upon receipt and send to AMBA, 4447 99 Street NW, Edmonton, AB T6E 5B6. If paying by credit card, please complete the payment information in the fields provided and a receipt will be sent to the primary contact upon completion of the transaction. A confirmation email with your registration details will be sent to the primary contact specified upon completion.
